BUCKLEY “CENT-A-PACK” CAST ALUMINUM TRADE STIMULATOR. Simple in nature these counter top gambling devices from the 1930s were masquerading as a gumball vending machine but in reality these devices were used for gambling purposes and generated substantial profits for their operators/owners. This particular model is fancifully cast for visual appeal and features various cigarette packs on the three reels. The idea being to line up three of a kind on the three reels. Respective payouts depended upon the rarity of certain symbols on each reel, thus there were more “Lucky Strike” symbols on the reels than there were “Kool” symbols.
